Kurokami The Animation - 01 à 23 (Fin)

Synopsis
Selon un mythe, chaque être humain aurait deux sosies dans le monde appelés Doppeliners. Ces personnes qui se ressemblent comme deux gouttes d’eau partageraient la même destinée. Par conséquent, si deux d’entre elles se rencontrent, alors parmi les trois, deux meurent le jour même et la troisième absorbe la part de destinée des deux autres.

Keita Ibuki est un adolescent très intéressé par cette histoire car sa mère fut renversée par une voiture juste après avoir croisé un de ses sosies. En raison de son passé tragique, ce dernier essaie d’éviter au maximum les contacts sociaux car il semble que ceux qui l’entourent finissent par voir le malheur s’abattre sur eux. Alors qu’il prend comme souvent un ramen en extérieur, Keita fait la connaissance de Kuro une jeune fille étrange se disant être une Mototsumitama et ayant pour but d’éliminer son frère. Pendant leur discussion, Kuro se fait attaquer par un inconnu mais réussit à prendre le dessus sur son agresseur sous les yeux incrédules de Keita. Peu de temps après cette rencontre mouvementée, de nouveaux cas de Doppeliners apparaissent autour du jeune homme laissant présager qu’une personne force leur rencontre dans l’ombre.

Keita se retrouve ainsi de nouveau au c½ur d’évènements sanglants et finira par voir sa destinée se lier à celle de Kuro.
